The Cambridge Firemen Come To Visit Room Three
It was lovely to have the Fire Rescue team come and visit us in Room Three today. They had several messages to share with us..... And we were able to share our knowledge with them.
We were able to tell the men what we would do if there was a fire in our house. GET DOWN, GET LOW, GET OUT... FAST.
Thanks for sharing that great story with us.... Look at all those hands in the air, we definitely had the answers the Fire Rescue Team were looking for!!!
This is us practising what we would do if we were in a fire... We all were very good and got a certificate for sharing our knowledge!!

Calling all parents: I have attached a website that should help you with strategies to help support your child with their mathematics. It is well worth a look, and has some very worthwhile ideas on it. Any questions please feel free to come and ask me at school. I cannot thank you enough for supporting your children at home with their learner. The most important part to your child's education is the link between home and school life.

Say cheese Room 3. We know that a Kiwi is special to New Zealand because it is a native flightless bird!
Room Threes Exciting Adventure!
It was a cloudy, overcast morning when brrrm, we were off on our adventure to the Otorohanga Kiwi House. The bus trip was long and quite noisy. First we had our morning tea. We had to sit on a tarpaulin because the grass was muddy and wet.
After that Room Three went into an education room with steps leading up to it. A man named Scott was waiting for us to arrive. He had a lot of knowledge about the Kiwi. We know that the Kiwi is important to us here in New Zealand because they are native, which means they only live in New Zealand. There are many predators that like to eat the kiwi, this is why they are endangered.
Following that we got to see the Kiwi in a nocturnal tunnel. They were fenced off so that the Kiwi could not attack each other. They looked bigger than what we thought they would be.
Next we were very excited to find out where we were going. We arrived at the iconic big kiwi in Otorohanga. We had our photo taken with it.
Finally we travelled to Te Kuiti to have our lunch with the children at St Joseph's School. We got to play in their playground.
It was an exciting day and we were able to find out lots of new information.
