My new lamb

Today after school I got a new lamb. We got the lamb from a man called John. He delivered the lamb to us at the pet store because there was something wrong with John's dog, I don't know what was the matter with his dog.  He delivered the lamb to us in a cat cage! I don't know why he gave us the lamb in a cat cage? When he got the lamb out of his truck it   

Our safe meeting place

Our safe meeting place is at the goal post . If there is a huge fire we meet at the goal post. When we are all together we cross the road and go to red cherry cafe.

Reason why we should have a chess club

We should have a chess club because we can have fun.  We could compete against other schools on our big chess set. I love chess and I want to play chess at school.

My new lamb

On Wednesday me and mum got a new lamb. We got the lamb at the pet shop. We got the lamb at the pet shop because the man called John there was something wrong with his dog. It took ages for John to come. Finley John arrived, me and mum got out of the car to meet our new lamb. It was so cute but when John tried to get the lamb out of it's cage but it didn't wont to to another family so he clung to the back of his cage. Then mum said " should I hold the handle and you pull the lamb." "OK" said John. So mum held the handle and John pulled the lamb. Finally John got the lamb out of it's cage and put it in the boot of the car. Then mum went to Farmlands to get a bottle and milk powder for the lamb when we got home I stayed in the car with the lamb while mum went to get George, Rose and Dad and mum said " Quick come and see Hugh he has had to have a bandage around his leg so they all came to see and when they looked in the car they saw the lamb. I hope the lamb has a good time at our house and that he does not miss his family too much.                                          

The Soccer Tournament

On Saturday I played soccer.  After that, I went to a development squad with Christian, William and Matthew J.  A development squad is a place at Cambridge Soccer grounds where you can learn new skills.  The coach Simon taught us some new tricks.  After that, we played a soccer game.  The teams were the greens vs the reds.  I was in the reds and the reds won 2-0!  Following that, we had a 10 minute break and then went back on to the field.  We had 20 more minutes of playing.  When the game ended, Simon called us to kneel down in front of him.  He had chosen 8 people to represent Cambridge 7th grade in a soccer tournament.  He picked me, Christian, William, Blake, Gus, Brayden, Spencer and for a reserve was Matthew J.  I was very excited to get picked and I can't wait until the tournament and I hope we win!

Our fire rules

In our house, we have fire safety  rules and they are; no runing in the lounge when the fire is on , no touching the stove or oven without adult supervision, whoever is cooking is not allowed to leave the pans and pots handles facing outwards, we have to check the smoke alarms every month and no playing with maches.
