Reasons why we should have a chess club

A chess club would be fun. We can play with other children and make new friends. Chess is good for developing our brains and thinking strategically.

My family's fire rules

If we find matches, tell an adult .If we see a fire, tell an adult.  Keep away from the fire.  Don't throw things over the fire rack.
If a fire alarm goes off, shout 'FIRE'  and keep low to the ground and get outside fast.   Keep away from the stove and toaster.

otorohanga kiwi house

Vroom went the bus. Chitter chatter went room 3,  room 2 and room1. We loaded our bags on the bus and we were off!!! It took us an hour to get to Otorohanga, I was bored and felt like going to sleep. Finally we got there. All the parent helpers were coming out with our bags. First we had a little play and our morning tea. We all had to sit on a dark waterproof tarpaulin. Next we went into a dark kiwi place to see all the information about kiwis. We saw the great spotted kiwi in a dark room. He thought  it was night time because it was dark. We saw some other native birds including a skeleton of a kiwi and a trap that traps a predators leg of a kiwi. It was made of metal.This is the great spotted kiwi.
